During your first visit, your practitioner will use these specific examinations to establish a complete picture of your whole system. This process reveals your inherent energy pattern and how your symptoms express them. The eight principles further define specific conditions and symptoms in term of Yin and Yang, internal and external, cold and hot, and deficiency and excess.
